Co wtyczka wysyła i kiedyWhat the extension sends, and when

Wtyczka wysyła na serwer Fak3Buster tylko to, co ma ocenić, i tylko wtedy, gdy dana funkcja jest włączona. Wyłączona funkcja sama nic nie wysyła. Wyjątek to „Sprawdź w Fak3Buster”, które uruchamiasz sam (niżej). Osobno wtyczka sprawdza nową wersję, ale nie wysyła przy tym treści stron (niżej).The extension sends the Fak3Buster server only what it has to check, and only while that feature is on. A feature that is off sends nothing by itself. The one exception is “Check with Fak3Buster”, which you start yourself (below). Separately, the extension checks for a new version, but it sends no page content for that (below).

• Sprawdzanie domeny: nazwa domeny otwartej strony (np. example.com), bez ścieżki.Domain check: the domain name of the open page (e.g. example.com), without the path.

Serwer sam otwiera stronę główną tej domeny i jej style, sprawdza szablon i dopiero wtedy zapisuje domenę oszustwa na stałe, żeby ostrzegać następnych użytkowników.A detected scam casino clone: when the extension recognises the template of a known scam casino on a page, it sends the domain name and which template features it found. No page address and no page content. The server opens that domain's home page and its styles itself, checks the template, and only then stores the scam domain permanently to warn the next users.
• Nagłówki (clickbait): teksty widocznych na stronie nagłówków (do 50 w jednym zapytaniu) i adres strony bez parametrów oraz bez fragmentu po #.Headlines (clickbait): the text of the headlines visible on the page (up to 50 per request) and the page address without query parameters and without the part after #.
• Fakty w artykule: tytuł i akapity artykułu (do 200 w jednym zapytaniu) oraz adres strony bez parametrów i bez fragmentu po #. Wtyczka nie sprawdza artykułów na stronach z polem hasła, na stronach poczty, w wynikach wyszukiwania ani na stronach z wieloma polami formularza.Facts in an article: the title and paragraphs of the article (up to 200 per request) and the page address without query parameters and without the part after #. The extension does not check articles on pages with a password field, on mail pages, in search results or on pages with many form fields.
• Pole hasła lub karty: gdy klikniesz w takie pole, wtyczka wysyła nazwę domeny strony, typ pola oraz tytuł strony i jej nagłówki h1 i h2 (do 10, do 120 znaków każdy). Po tym serwer sprawdza, czy strona nie udaje znanej firmy. Przy polu BLIK i PESEL idzie tylko domena i typ pola. Tego, co wpisujesz w pola, wtyczka nie czyta. Ze stron wrażliwych (poczta, komunikatory, banki, administracja) nie wysyła tytułu ani nagłówków.Password or card field: when you click such a field, the extension sends the domain of the page, the type of the field, and the page title and its h1 and h2 headings (up to 10, up to 120 characters each). The server then checks whether the page pretends to be a known company. For a BLIK or PESEL field only the domain and the field type go out. The extension never reads what you type into fields. From sensitive sites (mail, messengers, banks, government) it sends no title or headings.
• Obrazy: plik obrazu widocznego na stronie (do 8 MB) i adres strony bez parametrów oraz bez #. Ze stron wrażliwych wtyczka nie wysyła obrazów, nagłówków ani artykułów. To poczta (np. From sensitive sites the extension sends no images, headlines or articles. • X (Twitter): na x.com i twitter.com wtyczka wysyła tytuły kart z linkami we wpisach (jak nagłówki, także we wpisach promowanych) i nazwę domeny, do której karta prowadzi. Domenę odczytuje z tekstu karty, bez otwierania skróconego linku t.co. Adres strony ma wtedy postać samej domeny, bez ścieżki. Zdjęć z wpisów sama nie wysyła, robi to dopiero po twoim wyborze „Sprawdź obraz w Fak3Buster”. Nie wysyła tekstu wpisów, nazw ani zdjęć profilowych i nie sprawdza na X faktów jak w artykule. Tekst wpisu sprawdzisz sam przez „Sprawdź fakty w Fak3Buster”. Z wiadomości prywatnych (x.com/messages, x.com/i/chat) nie wysyła niczego. Obsługę X wyłączysz w ustawieniach (Serwisy społecznościowe). It reads the domain from the card's text and never opens the t.co short link. The page address is then just the domain, with no path. It does not send photos from posts by itself, only after you pick “Check image with Fak3Buster”. It does not send the text of posts, profile names or profile pictures, and it does not fact-check X as if it were an article. You can check a post's text yourself with “Fact-check with Fak3Buster”. Nothing is sent from private messages (x.com/messages, x.com/i/chat). You can turn X support off in the settings (Social media). Then nothing goes out from X automatically, apart from the domain of the site itself.
• Facebook: na facebook.com (także web. i m.facebook.com) wtyczka wysyła tytuły kart z linkami w postach (jak nagłówki, także w postach sponsorowanych) i nazwę domeny, do której karta prowadzi. Domenę odczytuje w przeglądarce z przekierowania Facebooka l.facebook.com/l.php, bez otwierania go. Adres strony ma wtedy postać samej domeny, bez ścieżki. It does not send the text of posts or comments, profile names or profile pictures, and it does not fact-check Facebook as if it were an article. You can check a post's text yourself with “Fact-check with Fak3Buster”. Nothing is sent from messages (facebook.com/messages). You can turn Facebook support off in the settings (Social media). Then nothing goes out from Facebook automatically, apart from the domain of the site itself.
• „Sprawdź w Fak3Buster” (prawy przycisk myszy): gdy sam wybierzesz tę pozycję menu, wtyczka wysyła tylko to, co wskazałeś. Może to być zaznaczony tekst (do 5000 znaków) z językiem strony i samym adresem serwisu (np. https://example.com/, bez ścieżki i bez tytułu strony). Obrazy i linki z sieci lokalnej (np. z routera) nie są wysyłane nigdy.“Check with Fak3Buster” (right-click menu): when you pick this menu item yourself, the extension sends only what you pointed at. That can be the selected text (up to 5000 characters) with the page language and just the site address (e.g. https://example.com/, with no path and no page title). It can be the file of the chosen image (up to 8 MB, without the page address). Or it can be the domain name the chosen link leads to. Known redirects (Facebook, Google) are unwrapped in the browser, with no request. We never open t.co short links. The menu also works when the feature is off, the site is on the exceptions list or the site is a sensitive one, because you decide what to send. Images and links on a local network (e.g. a router) are never sent.
• Sprawdzanie nowej wersji: wtyczka pobiera z serwera mały plik wersji (latest.json). Robi to po instalacji, przy starcie przeglądarki, po zmianie serwera i co 12 godzin. Działa niezależnie od włączonych funkcji. Nie wysyła treści stron ani żadnych identyfikatorów, ale serwer widzi twój adres IP (dziennik trzymamy 14 dni).Check for a new version: the extension downloads a small version file (latest.json) from the server. It does so after installation, at browser start, after you change the server and every 12 hours. It works whatever features are on. It sends no page content and no identifiers, but the server sees your IP address (we keep the log for 14 days).

Domyślnie wtyczka łączy się z serwerem bust3r.pl. Dostęp do wszystkich stron jest jej potrzebny, żeby uruchamiać funkcje na odwiedzanych stronach (domena, nagłówki, artykuły, obrazy), wstrzykiwać skrypt menu i pobierać bajty obrazów z cudzych domen. Poza tym używa tylko uprawnień „storage”, „alarms”, „contextMenus” i „scripting”. „contextMenus” i „scripting” obsługują pozycję „Sprawdź w Fak3Buster” w menu prawego przycisku. Skrypt pokazujący jej wynik trafia na stronę dopiero po kliknięciu. „Alarms” uruchamia sprawdzanie nowej wersji co 12 godzin i gasi stan błędu na ikonie. „Storage” trzyma ustawienia i informację o nowej wersji.By default the extension connects to bust3r.pl. It needs access to all sites to run its features on the pages you visit (domain, headlines, articles, images), to inject the menu script and to download the bytes of images from other people's domains. Apart from that it only uses the “storage”, “alarms”, “contextMenus” and “scripting” permissions. “contextMenus” and “scripting” support the “Check with Fak3Buster” item in the right-click menu. The script that shows its result is added to the page only after you click. “Alarms” starts the new-version check every 12 hours and clears the error state on the icon. “Storage” holds your settings and the new-version notice.

Czego wtyczka nie wysyłaWhat the extension does not send

• Haseł ani tego, co wpisujesz w formularze.Passwords or what you type into forms.
• Historii przeglądania. Wtyczka nie zbiera listy odwiedzonych stron i nie śledzi cię między stronami. Serwer dostaje dane tylko o stronie, którą akurat oceniasz.Browsing history. The extension does not collect a list of visited pages and does not follow you from site to site. The server only gets data about the page you are checking right now.
• Tekstu wpisów ani profili na X (Twitterze) i Facebooku, ani niczego z wiadomości prywatnych na obu serwisach. Chyba że sam zaznaczysz tekst i użyjesz „Sprawdź fakty w Fak3Buster”.The text of posts or profiles on X (Twitter) and Facebook, or anything from private messages on either. Unless you select the text yourself and use “Fact-check with Fak3Buster”.
• Niczego ze stron, na których wyłączyłeś wtyczkę (lista wyjątków w ustawieniach). Chyba że sam użyjesz tam „Sprawdź w Fak3Buster”.Anything from sites where you turned the extension off (the exceptions list in the settings). Unless you use “Check with Fak3Buster” there yourself.

Dokąd dane trafiają dalejWhere the data goes next

Wtyczka rozmawia tylko z serwerem Fak3Buster. Serwer stoi u jednego z nas w Polsce, a ruch przechodzi przez Cloudflare (połączenie szyfrowane, HTTPS). Żeby ocenić treść, serwer przekazuje jej części dalej:The extension talks only to the Fak3Buster server. The server runs at one of us in Poland, and traffic goes through Cloudflare (an encrypted HTTPS connection). To judge the content, the server passes parts of it on:

• DeepSeek V4 Flash przez router w sieci naszego zespołu: nagłówki, fragmenty artykułu wybrane do sprawdzenia, treść znalezionych źródeł i nazwy domen. Router stoi w sieci lokalnej zespołu i przekazuje to do modelu DeepSeek V4 Flash. Modelu zapasowego nie ma. Obrazy tam nie trafiają. Nie wiemy, co operator modelu robi z tym, co dostaje.DeepSeek V4 Flash through a router on our team's network: headlines, article fragments picked for checking, the content of the sources found, and domain names. The router sits on our team's local network and passes this on to the DeepSeek V4 Flash model. There is no backup model. Images do not go there. We do not know what the model's operator does with what it receives.
• OpenAI Content Provenance: tylko obrazy, i tylko gdy obraz nie ma podpisu C2PA wskazującego na AI. Jeśli OpenAI niczego nie wykryje, ocenia go lokalny model na naszym serwerze. Zasady OpenAI opisuje strona OpenAI o danych.OpenAI Content Provenance: images only, and only when an image has no C2PA signature pointing to AI. If OpenAI detects nothing, a local model on our server judges the image. OpenAI's rules are described on OpenAI's data page.
• Drugi serwer z GPU (opcjonalnie): jeśli go włączymy, obraz po OpenAI trafia najpierw tam, a dopiero potem do modelu lokalnego. Adres bierze się tylko z konfiguracji serwera. Gdy go nie ma, ten krok odpada.A second server with a GPU (optional): if we turn it on, an image goes there after OpenAI and only then to the local model. The address comes only from the server's configuration. Without it, this step is skipped.
• SearXNG (metawyszukiwarka uruchomiona u jednego z nas) i Wikipedia: hasła i zapytania wyprowadzone z twierdzeń w artykule, które serwer sprawdza. SearXNG przekazuje te zapytania dalej do zewnętrznych wyszukiwarek: Wikipedii, Wikidanych, DuckDuckGo, Google (Programmable Search) i Brave. Nie kontrolujemy, co one z nimi robią. Te same zapytania idą też do FakeNews.pl i do Google Fact Check Tools (gdy mamy klucz).SearXNG (a metasearch engine run by one of us) and Wikipedia: search terms and queries derived from the claims in the article that the server is checking. SearXNG passes these queries on to outside search engines: Wikipedia, Wikidata, DuckDuckGo, Google (Programmable Search) and Brave. We do not control what they do with them. The same queries also go to FakeNews.pl and to Google Fact Check Tools (when we have a key).
• RDAP (rejestry domen): nazwa domeny, gdy serwer sprawdza jej wiek.RDAP (domain registries): the domain name, when the server checks its age.
• URLhaus (abuse.ch): serwer pobiera od nich publiczną listę złośliwych adresów i porównuje ją u siebie. Nazwy twoich stron tam nie idą.URLhaus (abuse.ch): the server downloads their public list of malicious addresses and compares it on our side. The names of your sites do not go there.
• Statystyki odwiedzin: tylko jeśli klikniesz „Akceptuję” w okienku na stronie. Zostają na naszym serwerze i nie idą do żadnej firmy zewnętrznej.Visit statistics: only if you click “Accept” in the box on the page. They stay on our server and go to no outside company.

Serwer pobiera też strony źródłowe, żeby sprawdzić, czy cytat z dowodu naprawdę w nich jest. Trzyma ich tekst i wyniki wyszukiwania przez 24 godziny (zob. „Jak długo trzymamy”).The server also downloads source pages to check that the quoted evidence is really in them. It keeps their text and the search results for 24 hours (see “How long we keep it”).

Jak długo to trzymamyHow long we keep it

• Wyniki ocen (cache na dysku serwera): domena 6 godzin, nagłówek 7 dni, artykuł (wynik sprawdzenia faktów) 24 godziny, obraz 30 dni, fakty o domenie 24 godziny (15 minut, gdy źródło zawiodło), wiek domeny z rejestru od 15 minut do 7 dni. Klucz zapisu to skrót (sha256). W zapisie wyników ocen jest sam wynik, nie cały tekst strony.Check results (a cache on the server's disk): a domain 6 hours, a headline 7 days, an article (fact-check result) 24 hours, an image 30 days, facts about a domain 24 hours (15 minutes when a source failed), domain age from a registry 15 minutes to 7 days. The storage key is a hash (sha256). An entry for a result holds the result, not the full page text.
• Strony źródłowe i wyniki wyszukiwania (fact-check): serwer trzyma na dysku tekst pobranych stron źródłowych oraz wyniki z SearXNG i Wikipedii przez 24 godziny. Gdy pobranie strony się nie uda (np. 403 albo 404), pamięta to przez 1 godzinę i nie próbuje od razu ponownie. To cudze treści publiczne, nie twoje dane. Klucz zapisu to skrót (sha256).Source pages and search results (fact check): the server keeps on disk the text of downloaded source pages and the results from SearXNG and Wikipedia for 24 hours. When a page download fails (e.g. 403 or 404), it remembers that for 1 hour and does not retry right away. This is other people's public content, not your data. The storage key is a hash (sha256).
• Domeny potwierdzonych klonów oszukańczych kasyn: na stałe (nazwa domeny, data pierwszego i ostatniego zgłoszenia, liczba zgłoszeń, znalezione cechy szablonu). Bez danych o tym, kto zgłosił. Gdy serwer szablonu nie potwierdzi, nic nie zapisuje (pamięta tylko 6 godzin, żeby nie sprawdzać tej samej strony w kółko).Domains of confirmed scam casino clones: permanently (the domain name, the date of the first and last report, the number of reports, the template features found). Nothing about who reported it. When the server does not confirm the template, it stores nothing (it only remembers this for 6 hours so it does not check the same site over and over).
• Statystyki odwiedzin (tylko po zgodzie): 90 dni, potem znikają. Bez adresu IP.Visit statistics (only with consent): 90 days, then they disappear. No IP address.
• Samych obrazów serwer nie zapisuje. Zapisuje tylko wynik oceny.The server does not store the images themselves. It stores only the result.
• Dziennik serwera: zapisuje adres IP, z którego przyszło zapytanie, i jego ścieżkę. Przy sprawdzaniu faktów dopisuje też numer akapitu, długość wybranego zdania, werdykt i domeny źródeł, których nie udało się pobrać. Treści zdań w nim nie ma. Dziennik prowadzi system serwera.Server log: records the IP address a request came from and its path. For fact checks it also adds the paragraph number, the length of the picked sentence, the verdict and the domains of sources that could not be downloaded. The text of the sentences is not in it. The server's system keeps the log.

Dziennik serwera (z adresami IP) trzymamy 14 dni. Potem system sam go usuwa (ustawione 2026-10-12).We keep the server log (with IP addresses) for 14 days. After that the system deletes it on its own (set on 2026-10-12).

• Limity zapytań i dzienny limit AI: adres IP służy też do limitów. Liczniki na minutę leżą w pamięci procesu i znikają przy restarcie. Jest też dzienny limit wywołań modeli językowych na adres IP. Dla IPv6 liczymy całą sieć /64, bo jeden abonent zwykle dostaje całą. Ten licznik leży w cache na dysku razem z adresem IP (albo siecią /64) i wygasa po dwóch dobach.Request limits and the daily AI limit: the IP address is also used for limits. The per-minute counters sit in process memory and vanish on restart. There is also a daily limit on calls to language models per IP address. For IPv6 we count the whole /64 network, because one subscriber usually gets all of it. That counter sits in the disk cache together with the IP address (or the /64 network) and expires after two days.
• Zgłoszenia „To pomyłka?”: po kliknięciu „To pomyłka?” przy wyniku zgłoszenie przechodzi taką drogę.“Is this wrong?” reports: when you click “Is this wrong?” next to a result, the report goes like this.
  • Co wysyła wtyczka: której funkcji dotyczy zgłoszenie, etykietę i wynik oceny, wersję wtyczki i język. Do tego domenę (przy ostrzeżeniu o domenie) albo skrót sha256 nagłówka, cytatu lub adresu obrazu. Przy obrazie dochodzi domena serwera, z którego obraz pochodzi. Zgłoszenie nie zawiera tekstu strony, jej adresu ani samego obrazu.What the extension sends: which feature the report is about, the label and score of the result, the extension version and the language. It adds the domain (for a domain warning) or a sha256 hash of the headline, the quote or the image address. For an image it also adds the domain of the server the image comes from. The report does not contain the page text, the page address or the image itself.
  • Co zapisuje serwer: dopisuje zgłoszenie do pliku z datą dnia w nazwie. Zapisuje datę, ale nie godzinę i nie adres IP. Zamiast IP jest tam 12 znaków skrótu z adresu i losowej soli. Sól zmienia się codziennie i nigdzie się nie zapisuje. Z pliku nie odtworzysz więc adresu, a my policzymy tylko, ilu różnych użytkowników coś zgłosiło. Powtórzone zgłoszenie tego samego użytkownika serwer pomija.What the server stores: it appends the report to a file with the date of the day in its name. It stores the date, but not the time and not the IP address. In place of the IP there are 12 characters of a hash made from the address and a random salt. The salt changes every day and is never saved. You cannot recover an address from the file, and all we can count is how many different users sent a report. If the same user repeats a report, the server skips it.
  • Limity: jeden użytkownik (adres IPv4 albo sieć IPv6 /64) może zgłosić najwyżej 50 razy dziennie. Z jednego adresu przyjmujemy najwyżej 20 zgłoszeń na minutę. Plik dnia ma limit 2 MB. Gdy się zapełni, kolejne zgłoszenia odpadają do końca dnia.Limits: one user (an IPv4 address or an IPv6 /64 network) can send at most 50 reports a day. We accept at most 20 reports a minute from one address. The file for a day is capped at 2 MB. Once it is full, new reports are dropped until the end of the day.
  • Jak długo: pliki starsze niż 30 dni serwer usuwa sam. Samo zapytanie zostawia w dzienniku serwera adres IP i ścieżkę, jak każde inne (14 dni).How long: the server deletes files older than 30 days on its own. The request itself leaves the IP address and path in the server log, like any other (14 days).

• Przeglądarka zapamiętuje: wybrany język, motyw jasny albo ciemny, to, którą przeglądarkę wybrano w instrukcji instalacji, ustawienia dostępności z widżetu na stronie (klucz asw-user-settings) oraz twój wybór dotyczący statystyk (klucz fb-consent).
